I am looking for an approach that sees eye to eye with the overall aesthetics of my works, but can also work in a commercial context.
On behalf of ALEX MINT, a design studio that creates custom-made furniture and decorative items, we created of the catalog for collection 01.
The design was inspired by the clean, geometric lines of the artworks while we utilized the intense contrast of black with gold (the main metal used) to define the catalog’s internal rhythm.
We chose XPER paper at different weights for the cover and body of the catalog and a gold metal PANTONE to highlight specific aspects.
We employed quasi-literary language to create a story arc that links the catalog’s works in a single narrative, while the product description also conveys an eclectic tone, clearly focusing on the customer’s target group.
