An authentic exponent of Rumba Barcelona, Argentinian-born CHIMANGO combines street music with global social issues.
His first solo album “Donde el diablo perdio el poncho”, filled with rumba and reggae sounds, resonates the intensity of living in the streets of Barcelona.
He collaborated with Manu Chao, who participated in “Africa”, a song about human rights and the independence of the African continent.
In his second album “Tierra Adentro” he is joined artistically by Amparo Sanchez (Amparanoia), lending her voice to several songs and making the album overflow with emotion.
With the support of his friends Manu Chao, Amparo Sanchez, Tonino Carotone, Fahem Madjid, Chauvet Anouk, B-Roy, he set out for his grand european tour and spreads the unique culture of Barcelona street music.
